Jihan Wu is a renowned thought leader and entrepreneur in the blockchain industry. Mr Wu has served as the Chairman of Bitdeer since January 2021 and as Chief Executive Officer of Bitdeer since March 2024. 

Mr. Wu first gained international recognition as the Co-Founder and CEO of Bitmain Technologies since 2013, where he led the company to become the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of semiconductor chips and hardware for bitcoin mining. 

Mr Wu left Bitmain after January 2021. He established Bitdeer with its global headquarters in Singapore. A citizen of Singapore, Mr. Wu has lived in the country for many years and is an advocate for its role as a digital and innovation hub in Asia. 

In addition to his role at Bitdeer, he also serves as Chairman of Matrixport.

He obtained dual bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Psychology from Peking University in 2009.

Yeow Beng Lim has more than 30 years of experience in the logistics and engineering industry. He served in various leadership roles in the ST Logistics Group of Companies, Sembcorp Logistics as well as various directorships of more than 25 commercial international companies. 

Prior to joining the private sector, Mr Lim was a Brigadier General (Retired) who held various command and staff appointments with the Singapore Armed Forces. His pinnacle military appointment was the Head of Air Engineering and Logistics, being responsible for the total integrated logistics and engineering operations for the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). 

A graduate of the National University of Singapore, Mr Lim holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. He has attended an Executive Development Program by IMD, Switzerland. 

Mr Lim received the Senior Directorship Accreditation award from the Singapore Institute of Directors on 16 January 2024.

Sheldon Trainor-DeGirolamo has served as our independent director since March 2023. He also has served as the Non-Executive Director of Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd (6088.HK), a publicly traded company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, since May 2019. He has also served as the Director of Experiential Media Group and Linksys Holdings, Inc. since May 2021 and June 2021, respectively. From May 2012 to November 2020, he served as the Executive Director of Macau Legend Development Company Ltd., a publicly traded company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He also served as the Director of Athenex (NASDAQ: ATNX), a biopharmaceutical company publicly traded on Nasdaq, from June 2017 to May 2019. He is the Founder and Managing Director of PacBridge Capital Partners (HK) Limited, a principal investment firm based in Hong Kong, which he founded in 2009. Prior to establishing PacBridge, Mr. Trainor-DeGirolamo spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry, including with Credit Suisse Australia, Morgan Stanley Asia, and as the Head of Investment Banking for Asia, and as Vice Chairman of Merrill Lynch Asia. Mr. Trainor-DeGirolamo received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.

Guang Yang has served as our independent director since March 2023. He has 16 years of experiences in global wealth management, private equity, venture capital and investment banking. He is a co-founder of PSZC Asset Management, a leading multi-family office established 2015. During 2011-2015, Mr. Yang served as a partner for CGP Investment, one of the leading Asia based fund of funds. Prior to that, he served various financial advisory and investment roles at Macquarie Capital Group, China Renaissance, and CVC Capital from 2006 to 2010. Mr. Yang obtained his Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce and Bachelor’s Degree of Law from Melbourne University in 2006.

Mr. Naphat Sirimongkolkasem has served as our independent director since March 2023. Prior to that, he served as Blue Safari Group Acquisition Corp.’s Chief Financial Officer and as a member of its board of directors from April 2021 to March 2023. Mr. Sirimongkolkasem is experienced in management, business development and capital market transactions, including M&A, fundraising, initial public offerings, and restructurings in Asia. Since 2021, Mr. Sirimongkolkasem has been the co-Founder of Collis Capital. Mr. Sirimongkolkasem is responsible for the operation activities of Collis Capital, overseeing the analysis and evaluation of opportunities. From 2017 to 2021, Mr. Sirimongkolkasem was Investment Director of Sapientia Capital Limited. From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Sirimongkolkasem was a consultant at Vision Skill Consulting limited, which specializes in strategy, management and engineering advisory in areas that cover infrastructure, transportation and hospitality. Mr. Sirimongkolkasem obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Durham University (United Kingdom) in 2012.

Lars Nass is a seasoned entrepreneur with his family-owned company Naas Kalksteinbrudd AS, having co-founded ten companies in various industries that are still in operation. 

After serving over a decade as the technical lead and operations lead for one of Europe’s most efficient mineral mines, Mr Naas has extensive knowledge and expertise in many key areas crucial for building data centers, including high-voltage systems and infrastructure, industrial plumbing and site construction. 

Mr Naas currently serves as the Director of the Board & CEO of Troll Datacenter in Norway.

Chao Suo has over ten years of experience in human resources, including HR strategy framework, recruitment, performance management, competency development, compensation & benefit, and labor compliance. Ms. Suo has served as the HR Director of Bitdeer since March 2021. Prior to that, Ms. Suo served as the HR Director of BitMain Technologies Holding Company (“BitMain”) from 2015 to 2021. Ms. Suo obtained a master’s degree in Corporate Management from Communication University of China in 2010 and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Beijing Forestry University in 2008.
