Jihan Wu is a renowned thought leader and entrepreneur in the blockchain industry. Mr Wu has served as the Chairman of Bitdeer since January 2021 and as Chief Executive Officer of Bitdeer since March 2024.
Mr Wu first gained international recognition as the Co-Founder and CEO of Bitmain Technologies since 2013, where he led the company to become the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of semiconductor chips and hardware for bitcoin mining. Mr Wu left Bitmain after January 2021.
He established Bitdeer with its global headquarters in Singapore. A citizen of Singapore, Mr. Wu has lived in the country for many years and is an advocate for its role as a digital and innovation hub in Asia. In addition to his role at Bitdeer, he also serves as Chairman of Matrixport.
He obtained dual bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Psychology from Peking University in 2009.

Lars Nass is a seasoned entrepreneur with his family-owned company Naas Kalksteinbrudd AS, having co-founded ten companies in various industries that are still in operation.
After serving over a decade as the technical lead and operations lead for one of Europe’s most efficient mineral mines, Mr Naas has extensive knowledge and expertise in many key areas crucial for building data centers, including high-voltage systems and infrastructure, industrial plumbing and site construction.
Mr Naas currently serves as the Director of the Board & CEO of Troll Datacenter in Norway.
